Blacks and Hispanics With Peripheral Vascular Disease are Two Times more likely to receive an Amputation.

This disparity was highlighted in a recent American College of Cardiology review article. Thanks to the Kentucky Social Welfare Foundation's wonderful donation we now have the equipment to screen this underserved population for peripheral vascular disease. We will now be providing that service at all of our community screenings.
